Freedom for social entrepreneurs: Education must be independent of vested interests - and financed at the same time. Ensuring the financial independence of Witten/Herdecke University, free from vested interests, is what drives the Foundation. As the second largest shareholder in the university, the foundation guarantees the university's private self-administration. Funds from the Foundation flow into the current budget of the University or individual faculties as grants. In addition, the foundation awards direct grants for study and research scholarships, material resources as well as events and conferences at the university.
Together with a team of five young researchers I worked on a policy paper on youth budgeting and intergenerational just fiscal policy for FiscalFuture, commissioned by the Federal German Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.
Internship in the parliamentary office of Axel Schäfer MdB. I focused on EU issues. Assumption of activities in the preparation of committee and working group meetings as well as press and public relations work.
