Adnan Kassar School of Business Responsible for assisting, planning, execution of the school assessment, evaluation plans and activities. I coordinate data collection pertaining to assessment in support of program evaluation and accreditation. • Arrange and support relevant curriculum-related meetings • Support the Chairs in developing curriculum proposals • Work in close liaison with the accreditation committees and the accreditation and continuous improvement officer on AACSB-related assessment meetings, and takes the necessary follow-up actions including the preparation of reports for accreditation purposes • Coordinate the assessment of program outcomes and educational objectives with the faculty, and implement developed assessment strategies that lead to course, curricular and program improvement, and to the achievement of the Department and School’s missions • Support internal and external periodic reviews as they relate to assessment • Act as a liaison with the University Institutional Research and Assessment Office (IRA) by reporting and collecting all departmental and school related data • Issue information, assessment guidance, and initial results to students • Coordinate assessed work submissions • Deal with assessment queries from staff and students • Coordinate student representation on assessment committees including organizing the students’ focus groups • Perform other related duties/projects as requested by the Dean
Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine Work on an assessment platform: “MyEvaluations Platform” where I am in close liaison with the faculty, coordinators of affiliated hospitals and school administration on all assessment aspects, and handle the administrative management of all activities related to the Assessments of Residents in the Office of the Graduate Medical Education. • I manage and maintain assessment and evaluation reports to ensure timely and proper reporting activities; • Analyze assessment results, disseminate findings and assist faculty and administrative personnel in utilizing assessment findings for further enhancement of residents’ learning; • Provide statistical reports (summaries and interprets findings) to the Assistant Dean for Graduate Medical Education, and deal with assessment queries from faculty, staff and residents.
I worked with a professor in Finance and the Dean of the Olayan School of Business; we are working on a project in the business domain concerning all companies in the world and their subsidiaries, collecting information about the formation of the companies and their board of Directors (Biography/Investments) and the foundation of companies through several ways: Through U.S Securities and Exchange Commission: • Search for subsidiaries for all companies in the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission. • Data collection on board members of listed companies • Analyze the individuals from the Management board and work on their experiences. • Research and data collection on all founders for the companies worked on from the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission and Business focusing on financial data websites. • Data Anaylsis. Through Crisp: • A data mining process model that describes commonly used approaches that data mining experts use to tackle problems • Literature Review ( through AUB library and Google Scholar) • Bring the PERMNO of every company on Wharton research data services. Through Thomson Reuters Database: • I was in charge of getting the ISIN codes for American companies and their subsidiaries, and insert them in a specific excel sheet. The isin organization provides management services related to international securities identification numbers (ISIN). Securities for which ISINs are issued include bonds, commercial paper, equities and warrants, and I worked most on the equity options.
