I have attended two residential cyber security courses with The Smallpeice Trust, first at age 15, along with studying Computer science at GCSE's and A levels. In computer science at A levels I was taught how to use Java and JavaScript, as well as how to integrate them with HTML and different design coding languages like CSS, along with previous knowledge of Python from Computer science at GCSE's. I achieved Distinction for a Business Associate Apprenticeship with Corndel in December 2024 while working in the SAM technical team at Softcat,I then continued as a full time Technical Support Analyst in the SAM Technical team. My main skills gained from this role include server maintenance, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio SQL queries and improved self management skills by efficiently handling a ticket queue of over 60 tickets per week. I’ve now moved on to a new role at inTEC GROUP providing IT support at a local school.
I worked as an ITAM Analyst for the SAM Technical team at Softcat for over 2 years. I provided technical support for over 180 customers across several Asset Management tools like Snow (License Manager, Service Provider Edition and Atlas), Xensam, Atternity Dex Riverbed and Zluri. I managed over 60 incoming requests to the team per week, documenting my investigations and providing the first customer reply on more than half of the requests within an hour of receiving them. I ensured a fair workload distribution by either owning the request or assigning it to a team member. I was responsible for performing daily checks on 46 servers to ensure optimal performance and reliability for the 100 customers hosted by Softcat. I also maintained a group mailbox that receives over 20 emails per day, addressing and actioning both internal and external requests as needed.
I worked as a Business apprentice at Softcat, with the Software Asset Management Techncial team. I completed my apprenticeship with Distinction and started working in the SAM technical team full-time.
I spent 4 months working at Millbrook Healthcare in the Customer Service department. I was responsible for organising deliveries, collections and repairs of medical equipment to people in their homes and in larger residencies such as care homes, hospitals and prisons.
