• In 2022 when KCA-DEUTAG acquired the Rig Land Business of Saipem, I am promoted as Equipment & Maintenance Manager responsible for both entities, Gulf Drilling & Saudi International Service Energy operating in Saudi Arabia, responsible to manage the maintenance of Drilling Equipment’s of 36 Land Rigs. • Responsible of numerous duties, integration process for Gulf Drilling and Saudi International Service Energy (Saipem) regarding maintenance aspects of Drilling Equipment’s according to KCA-DEUTAG policies and CMMS Systems. • Accountable to prepare maintenance budget and Investment budget and manage yearly budgets (up to 65 M$) meeting the assigned targets for 36 Land Rigs operating in Saudi Arabia with Saudi Aramco Client. • Responsible to prepare AFE (authorization for expenditure) for all maintenance projects and investments. • Lead the team to perform Asset Inventory and Assets Validation of 36 Land Rigs and Logistic Base. • Technical responsibility for preparation of technical documentation / purchasing / installation of new equipment and spare parts for project execution purpose. • Preparation of technical documentation for new tenders in Saudi Arabia (Client Saudi Aramco), including investment budget preparation, project plans in collaboration with the Onshore Drilling Commercial Department.
•Accomplished numerous duties, which included defined company strategies for investments and maintenance and managed yearly budgets (up to 50 M$ per year) meeting the assigned targets for 30 Land Rigs (28 Land Rigs operating in Saudi Arabia with Saudi Aramco Client and 2 Land Rigs operating in Kuwait for KOC Client) • Managed Dammam Logistic Base, Technical Department, Workshops (Mechanic, Electric, Engine and Welding Workshop) and Warehouse with relevant infrastructures and guaranteed operations logistic support (Total:400 persons). • Managed Company Industrial Assets, ensuring that Onshore drilling Rigs satisfy client contractual requirements, reducing the non-productive time by 0.5% per year, achieving the 99% of productivity. •Implemented new initiatives, from MRP to Logistics, for warehouse management system and optimized the stock value acting as focal point for supply chain. •Decreased the overall stock value based on stock level optimization and maintained inventory levels to meet department’s needs. • Monitoring critical spares stock and conducting inventories in the central warehouse and 28 satellite stores in the country. • Implemented cost-saving measures through optimization of maintenance processes and vendor negotiations during bidding. • Preparation of technical documentation for new tenders in Kuwait (Client and renew the contracts in Saudi Arabia (Client Saudi Aramco), including investment budget preparation, project plans in collaboration with the Onshore Drilling Commercial Department.
•Managed and supervising overhauling of drilling Equipment’s for 30 Land Rigs (28 Land Rigs operating in Saudi Arabia with Saudi Aramco Client and 2 Land Rigs operating in Kuwait for KOC Client). •Coordinate the Technical Department, CMMS Department (Computerized maintenance management system) and Warehouse. (100 persons). •Accomplished numerous duties, which included managed ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of Drilling Equipment’s, ensuring correct planning, execution and reporting, with control of CAPEX budget and in according to Corporate Quality and HSE procedures. •Implemented Management of Changes for Assets engineering and design. •Lead the team to perform Assets Inventory and Assets Validation for 28 Land Rigs and Logistic Base. •Preparation of technical documentation for new tenders in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, including investment budget preparation, project plans in collaboration with the Onshore Drilling Commercial Department. •Performance evaluation of employees through review of completed work assignments.
•Responsible for scheduling, planning, and execution of maintenance activities and upgrades for 7 Land Rigs. (3 Workover Rigs &. 4 Drilling Rigs) •Prepare maintenance plan for assigned Assets in terms of Capex budgets and forecasts in coordination with Asset Manager. •Liaise with the OEM and OEM equivalent engineering service providers to identify opportunities for executing upgrades, equipment recertification / overhauls / modifications, equipment commissioning requirements and implementation of corrective actions. •Prepare scope of work for rig move activities in cooperation with all concerned departments regarding Maintenance and Recertification activities. (CAT III and CAT IV inspection for Drilling Equipment according to API RP 4G, API RP 7L, API RP 8B). •Develop overview of project plan and coordinate with equipment specialists for technical approvals related to Capex. •Coordinate with supply chain team to recommend spare part stock considering the daily and upcoming commissioning / maintenance activities to get the task completed in timely, efficient, and safe manner. •Assist Rig Managers for closure of open audit points raised by management and client. •Review and plan implementation of safety bulletins received from equipment manufacturers ensuring asset integrity. •Contribute the implementation of HSE / QA plans and targets. •Assess third party Companies and make sure whether the given scope of work is properly ongoing, and the parts used are as per OEM and quality standards with refer to safety aspects. •Perform periodic inspection on Rig Sites, to ensure the equipment’s are properly maintained without any anomalies, as well to communicate with rig management if there any improvements to be taken place for integrity. •Prepare technical bid evaluations to supply chain team for equipment purchases and services under Capex.
