I believe in building bridges and augmenting communities. In practice, that has meant partnering with executives, People teams, and boards across complex, global organizations to design, embed, and scale inclusive talent systems, leadership development, and organizational programs that drive retention, growth, and performance. Most recently, I served as a Sr. Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Business Partner at DoorDash, where I set and advanced DEI strategy for hourly business verticals while also leading enterprise-wide programs supporting inclusive talent outcomes at scale. I partnered closely with sr. business and People leaders to embed equity into talent systems, elevate frontline worker perspectives, and translate organizational priorities into cross-functional programs. I also helped position ERGs as strategic levers for retention, engagement, and leadership development. I currently serve as Chair of the Board for LYRIC, a $5.7M nonprofit organization, where I provide governance oversight, steward organizational strategy and financial health, and manage the Executive Director in partnership with the board. This work has strengthened my executive judgment around accountability, operating discipline, and long-term sustainability. Previously, I worked as a DEI Business Partner at Meta, supporting a 7,000+ person global Monetization organization. There, I led programs focused on the retention, development, and advancement of underrepresented talent and served as Chair of Black@Pride, an intersectional employee resource group. Earlier in my career, I was a founding consultant at Promise54, partnering with leadership teams to diagnose organizational culture, develop multi-year DEI and people strategies, and assess talent systems to improve equity and effectiveness. My leadership foundation was shaped in education and community-based settings, including serving as a founding teacher at the first KIPP middle school in Boston and as an international educator in the Marshall Islands and Bosnia and Herzegovina. These experiences built my ability to lead under pressure, navigate complexity, and work effectively across difference. I bring 16+ years of experience across tech, nonprofit, and education environments, grounded in a race-forward, intersectional lens and a systems-level approach to people and culture. I hold a BA from Dartmouth College and an EdM from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Based in San Francisco and originally from Chicago, I remain invested in building organizations—and communities—that work better for everyone.
