Governance Vice President at EQT Group with firm-wide responsibility for AML/KYC governance across EQT-administered entities globally. Experience spans policy design and implementation, regulatory interpretation, audit coordination, remediation, and escalation, supported by hands-on leadership of a dedicated AML/KYC team. Works closely with Legal, Compliance, external advisors, and counterparties to ensure defensible regulatory positioning and consistent application of AML/CFT and sanctions requirements. CAMS and CGSS certified, with a pragmatic, risk-based approach to compliance focused on clarity, accountability, and operational effectiveness. • Firm-wide responsibility for AML/KYC governance across all EQT-administered entities, acting as the single point of accountability for AML/KYC confirmations issued to regulators, auditors, banks, lenders, and other third parties. • Serve as board member (manager) on multiple EQT General Partner entities, contributing to governance oversight, fiduciary decision-making, and regulatory accountability at board level. • Lead and manage a dedicated AML/KYC team of six associates, providing people management, technical supervision, prioritization, and escalation handling. • Owner of the design, implementation, and maintenance of AML/KYC frameworks, policies, and procedures, aligned with Luxembourg, EU, UK, US, Nordic, and APAC regulatory requirements. • Oversee risk-based KYC refresh, UBO/SMO monitoring, audit coordination, and remediation, ensuring defensible regulatory positioning. • Author of multi-jurisdictional UBO policies, structured to be audit-ready, scalable, and clearly scoped by governance ownership.
• Led the AML/KYC workstream within Corporate Governance, with responsibility for regulatory interpretation, policy execution, and process enhancement. • Drafted and implemented jurisdiction-specific UBO registration frameworks, including Luxembourg RBE UBO/SMO reporting (filing workflows, statutory deadlines, service-level expectations, and annual reconciliation controls). • Designed and implemented UK Companies House identity verification (ECCTA) processes for directors, LLP members, and PSCs, coordinating with external counsel. • Supported audit-related KYC requests and pre-deal / financing AML/KYC checks, acting as a subject-matter expert on AML/KYC and regulatory governance topics. • Mentored junior team members and contributed to the continuous strengthening of AML/KYC governance frameworks.
• Managed legal entity lifecycle matters, including incorporations, liquidations, banking administration, share registers, and board composition records • Maintained core governance master data and supported corporate governance decision-making processes • Supported onboarding of bridge lenders, external financing arrangements, and auditors from an AML/KYC and regulatory perspective • Coordinated governance projects involving close interaction with senior management, portfolio companies, and external stakeholders
