Athens, Ohio, United States
My name is Laikyn Imler and I am a Senior at Ohio University, expecting to graduate in May 2026. I am studying Accounting as well as Business Analytics. I have accepted a full-time audit position at Clark Schaefer Hackett to begin in June 2026.
During this job, I served 30+ people in a shift, making a wide variety of food items while greeting customers and taking their form of payment to ensure adequate customer experience. I worked in all aspects of pizza making, handling a cash register, taking phone orders, and pursuing outstanding customer service to keep customers satisfied. I also performed basic cleaning tasks such as: sweeping, mopping, doing the dishes, wiping down counters, and organizing inventory products to ensure that safety standards were met. Lastly, I exhibited excellent time management skills by balancing work and school even during a pandemic while business was heavily increased.
As an Assurance Intern at Clark Schaefer Hackett, I worked on over 10 audits for clients in manufacturing, commercial services, real estate, and nonprofits. I tested financial areas like cash, receivables, payables, revenue, expenses, and debt, contributed to risk assessments, and helped prepare planning documentation. I completed fieldwork at three client sites and collaborated with team members across different offices, to complete audit procedures effectively.
