Laetitia is an impact-driven student leader and aspiring investment professional with a strong interest in consulting, venture capital and investment. She is motivated by building long-term value through disciplined financial analysis, strategic thinking, and purposeful execution in high-impact environments. She is currently the Co-Founder of Community Pond under Team United Salmon, a student-led initiative focused on fostering meaningful engagement, collaboration, and impact-driven programmes within the student ecosystem under Dr Nam (SBS Competition Coordinator / our mentor) and Dr Stella (SBS Deputy Dean) supervision. In this role, she drives strategic direction, stakeholder coordination, and initiative design, demonstrating strong ownership, initiative-building capability, and a people-centric leadership approach. Most recently, under Community Pond, she led the successful execution of a physical McKinsey & Company information session in collaboration with Sunway Business School. The initiative involved coordinating with McKinsey recruiters and internal university stakeholders to curate a structured engagement session for selected students. This experience strengthened her ability to manage high-level stakeholder communication, execute under strict professional standards, and deliver corporate-facing initiatives in partnership with a leading global consulting firm. She has held leadership roles including Secretary of the Sunway Business School Student Concilium (2024/2025) and Head of Design & Marketing for Special Projects (2023/2024), where she drove cross-functional initiatives spanning operations and communications. She was also part of the organising committee for the SBS Business Simulation Championship 2025, an international competition involving universities such as Cambridge, LSE, and UCLA. She has further developed her analytical and competitive edge through multiple national and regional case competitions. Most notably, she led her team to become Malaysia Champions and ASEAN 2nd Runner-Up at the TNB Aura Startup Wars, a venture capital case competition involving over 2,500 participants across 31 universities in Southeast Asia. In this capacity, she led the financial narrative, investment thesis, and pitch strategy while engaging with founders to validate industry assumptions. Her team finished just 0.25 marks behind the winning team from NTU Singapore.
