East Slovak Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive care Pain Clinic The Department of Anesthesiology and intensive care in East Slovak Institute of Cardiovascular Disease is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. The Department provides high-quality services focused on postoperative cardio surgical medical care, diagnostics and treatment of the ischemic heart disease, valvular heart disease and the various other acquired or congenital heart diseases. Pain Clinic is a part of the East Slovak Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases and it is focused on high technology pain treatment procedures under ultrasound and radiologic navigation in different painful clinical conditions.
