I am the Accreditation/Assessment Coordinator for the College of Public Health at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. I represent UNMC on the ASPPH Data Section and served as the 2023-2024 Chair of the Section. I am also a member of the ASPPH Data Advisory Committee and served on the 2024 ASPPH Annual Meeting Planning Committee. I have experience in community outreach and organizing, research, policy, management, strategic planning, public relations, communication, and fundraising through my educational and employment careers. I served on the Omaha Public Schools Board of Education from June 2013 through December 2018. I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the MSIA: Health Practice and Medical Education Research program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, passing my comprehensive exam in October 2025. I earned my Master of Science in Political Science at the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 2021, as well as an MBA at UNO in 2011. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with minors in English and Family & Consumer Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2006.
Responsible for providing strategic vision, expertise, and management of the College of Public Health's (COPH) accreditation, evaluation, assessment, and compliance plans and outcomes, as well as organizing and maintaining the COPH strategies within the UNePLAN system. Manage the development, collection, processing, and analysis of all surveys, data, and reporting related to accreditation, evaluation, and compliance on the College and program levels. Serve as the College subject matter expert as it relates to accreditation, evaluation, and compliance. Represent the College on the UNMC Assessment Committee and ASPPH Data Section. Also selected to serve on the ASPPH Data Advisory Committee. Serve as co-chair of the COPH Evaluation Committee. Act as a liaison between the Dean's Office and departments within COPH, across campus, and with external organizations on issues related to accreditation.
Responsible for developing and monitoring the UNMC College of Public Health's (COPH) evaluation plan and accreditation compliance. Act as a liaison between the Dean's Office and departments within the COPH, across campus, and external organizations on issues related to accreditation. Represent the COPH on the ASPPH Data Section, discussing best practices for data collection and analysis. Collect data and/or conduct surveys on all areas of programs activities for evaluation of program effectiveness. Assist with audit processes designed to monitor continuous improvement in operations, programs, and assessment.
Provided a positive shopping experience to Torrid customers, including building outfits, accessorizing, finding gifts, processing shipment, cashiering, creating, fulfilling, and shipping online orders, and maintaining general store upkeep.
Worked with undergraduate students in the College of Business Administration at UNO. This included meeting with students for degree planning, class selection, and academic counseling, leading new and transfer student orientations, representing the college at recruitment events, posting transfer credits, and evaluating course equivalencies. Duties also included building and maintaining UNO CBA's relationships and articulation agreements with area community colleges. Also served one year as Co-Staff Advisor to UNO's chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, a national business honorary society. Represented the academic advising team on the Mammel Hall Green Team, monitoring the environmentally friendly status of the facility.
Provide knowledgeable assistance to undergraduate students to help ensure their degree completion and achievement of educational, personal, and professional goals. Advise students to develop degree plans, review advisement reports, and track progress toward degree completion. Work with students to resolve complaints and act as a liaison across departments on the students’ behalf to facilitate a successful and engaging student experience.
Responsible for managing caseload of workers' compensation claims including maintaining contact with injured workers, employers, attorneys, and medical providers, following state reporting and treatment guidelines, negotiating settlements. Promoted from Adjuster I to Adjuster II in April 2012. Completed Adjuster III training in December 2012. Managed caseload reserved at approximately $15 million.
