Kyle Baker brings decades of experience in government relations, and his background spans from the federal level, where he served in the White House, to the municipal level, where he worked on behalf of Los Angeles County. Kyle’s extensive policy experience and advocacy efforts have often focused on health care access, public health, and social justice issues. Kyle is also a veteran of numerous highly influential public awareness and behavior change campaigns in public health that bridge policy, strategic communications, community and government relations, cross-sector partnerships, and social impact. He was honored with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (DPH) Excellence in Public Health Award in 2014 and was instrumental in the development and launch of the Los Angeles County HIV/AIDS Strategy in 2018. After nearly 20 years at DPH, Kyle transitioned from local government to offering consulting services that draw from his experience as Chief of Staff and Director of Government Relations for DPH’s Division of HIV and STD Programs. He’s currently putting his skills to work through his public affairs consulting company, Vector Strategies, where he is a Founding Partner and the Chief Operating Officer.
