Recently- Additive Manufacturing Engineering Lead at Boeing designing and 3D printing rapid tooling/parts for emergent challenges on the 737 Aircraft Program focused on safety, quality and cost. Process Engineer on 737 final assembly in Renton Washington. Lead Process engineer for the composite Hybrid laminar flow control for leading edge of vertical and horizontal stabilizers on 787 in Auburn. Completed engineering rotation in 2015, for Tool Engineering and R&D Robotics/Automation engineering in December. After the rotation program, returned as a Process Engineer at the Advanced Developmental Composites facility. Past Experience as a Process Engineer on structural Composite parts at Boeing Frederickson. Prior to that Project Manager for Advanced materials testing and manufacturing as well as hands-on experience as a composites layup technician. Graduated from Western Washington University in 2009 focusing on composites design and manufacturing. Member of Formula SAE team leading up chassis manufacturing. Participated in the SAMPE bridge building competition in 2009 and finished 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th with four entries. Worked on the All American Marine Hydrofoil project at WWU for the Kitsap Transit Ferry as part of senior project. Specialties: Additive Manufacturing: SLA, SLS, FDM/FFF processes Design for Additive Manufacturing MIT Additive Manufacturing Certificate Program Composites manufacturing: VARTM, Prepreg autoclave & out of autoclave, Wet layup. Basic understanding of laminate analysis theory and rule of mixtures, Composite analysis and design theory, and proper use of DOE. Proficient in CATIA, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Cura, Slic3r, FEA, DFM/DFA, DfAM. Four years experience with collaboration/communication within a team of individuals(FSAE).

Served as Additive Manufacturing Engineering Lead at Boeing designing and 3D printing rapid tooling/parts for emergent challenges on the 737 Aircraft Program focused on safety, quality and cost. Work with Design engineers and manufacturing personnel to develop, design, iterate and test solutions for the 737 Airplane. Working with various CAD packages and slicer software, to create and project manage solutions to implementation utilizing an array of Additive Manufacturing/3D printing technologies along with traditional fabrication methods.
