Serve as technical lead for all Swift stratospheric balloon platform operations, owning fleet-wide inspection protocols, maintenance standards, and pre-flight readiness Lead high-altitude balloon launches and recoveries across diverse U.S. regions, managing logistics, equipment readiness, and field safety in remote environments Coordinate cross-functionally with guided descent software, photogrammetry, and flight systems engineering teams to improve platform reliability and operational procedures Develop and deliver technical training for new operators, building repeatable processes for platform handling, inspection, and pre-flight operations Analyze flight telemetry data to identify anomalies, support post-flight reporting, and inform iterative platform improvements Contribute to hardware design and testing efforts on the Swift (ST6/ST6-A) payload platform including landing gear and guided descent system improvements
