I am a motivated current Sixth Form Student who will be a Law with Criminology Undergraduate at Oxford Brooke's university starting in September 2026. I have experience in volunteering with local initiatives such as ParkRun, and hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), demonstrating responsibility, attention to safety, and teamwork. My academic background, including GCSEs in Spanish, English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, History, and Art, has developed my analytical, research and community skills. I am looking for part-time work alongside my studies, ideally in roles where I can continue to develop my organisational, problem solving, and customer service skills, while contributing positively to the team and the community
As a lifeguard, I am responsible for maintaining the safety and wellbeing of all pool users, monitoring, the environment for possible risks, and responding quickly to emergencies. This role has strengthened my skills in risk management, vigilance, teamwork, and effective communication, all of which are essential in high-pressure situations. I also support community engagement through ensuring a safe and welcoming environment, and I have experience providing first aid and enforcing safety procedures consistently.
I worked as a waitress at Finchampstead Baptist Church from March 2023 through November 2023, providing excellent customer service in a busy, fast paced environment. I took orders, served food and drinks, and handled customer queries efficiently while ensuring a positive experience for all guests. I developed strong multitasking, organisation, and adaptability skills while managing multiple tables and responsibilities. I collaborated closely with team members to maintain smooth daily operations and high service standards, demonstrating reliability and a proactive approach to supporting colleagues
