• Developing an Official Social Media Mobile App and Analytics Dashboard for HKUST Year 1 Engineering students using Flutter, Next.js, React, Golang, Python and PostgreSQL. • Receiving a total sum of $250,000 HKD funding from School of Engineering. Achieving 1600+ active users on the platform with ~2k new posts per month. • Configuring and deploying frontend and backend with Terraform, Docker and Tailscale on self-hosted machines. Utilizing Cloudflare Zero Trust Tunnel for security and DDoS measures. • Providing maintenance with app publishing on App Store and Google Play Store, and handling user requests through email helpline.
• Providing technical assistance to staff and students for technical inquiries. • Performing routine checks with computing and printing facilities. • Delivering clerical help with ITSO staff for supporting their daily operations.
• Self-lead development of building an Asset Classification Change Request System using pure HTML, CSS and JavaScript by utilizing SharePoint API and Power Automate. • Upgrading existing Asset Hierarchy Management System provided by the vendor and adding new functionality to accommodate recent changes to the Asset Classification policy. • Providing technical and clerical help with AM&GD staff for supporting their daily operations.
• Performing daily performance measurement and metric analysis on the Wi-Fi.HK service and cooperating with service providers ensure high service quality in case of disruption. • Designing and verifying service map diagrams to meet specifications for releasing to the public. • Participating in Weekly Site Visits to gain practical insights in the Telecom Industries and learning the benefits of Public-Private Partnerships.
