Joining the corporate CTO office of Lumentum to focus on product and technology strategy for our commercial lasers including kilowatt fiber lasers for metal cutting and welding, and all pulsed lasers for micromachining applications in semiconductor and electronics production tools.
Lumentum spun-off from JDSU on 1-August-2015 to focus on photonics for telecom, datacom, and commercial lasers for macro-machining (e.g. kilowatt fiber lasers) and micro-machining (e.g. high-power picosecond and femtosecond lasers)
Time-Bandwidth Products became a part of the JDSU family at the end of January 2014 to accelerate the adoption of our ultrafast laser products into the growing industrial market for these types of lasers. We remain a Swiss company with precision ultrafast laser production, a strengthened R&D innovation center for ultrafast lasers, and European service center for all JDSU industrial lasers. The JDSU organization brings us a strengthened worldwide sales network plus world-class manufacturing and supply-chain expertise for high-volume precision photonics.
