About

Ever since my first course on image processing at the University of Leuven I was hooked. As a result I completed a master thesis on multi-view 3D reconstruction at the University of Oxford and joined the computer vision group Visics-PSI of the University of Leuven where I defended my Phd on Augmented Reality. As co-founder and previous CTO of Apixa I enjoyed working with a large variety of technologies ranging from 3D imaging, photogrammetry, mobile mapping, digital holography, interferometry, deflectometry, hyperspectral imaging, deeplearning, .... and many more. I like to question, challenge and am a critical investigator. To quote Robert Half "Asking the right questions takes as much skill as giving the right answers".
