1) Responsible for developing and implementing policies, protocols, and standards in accordance with local and ISO guidelines. 2) Monitoring environmental performance, identifying risks, conducting safety audits, investigating incidents, implementing waste management programs, and developing EHS training programs. 3) Stay updated with proposed and actual changes in safety and environmental regulations, conduct pre-operational risk assessments, and develop documentation, operational checks, and reports for the EHS MS. 4) Assist in executing continuous audits, preparing compliance-related reports, and ensuring the site is prepared for emergencies. Investigate the root cause of EHS complaints and incidents, record and monitor compliance to the Work Permit System, and implement job safety analysis. 5) Work pro-actively, conducting emergency response exercises, supervising regular inspections of firefighting equipment, and developing and implementing emergency response procedures and evacuation plans. 6) Ensure contractor safety management and orientation for new employees, contractors, foreign delegations, and high-profile visitors. 7) Preparing monthly EHS reports, reviewing the Legal Register, budgeting, and supervising project activities related to EHS.
1) Responsible for execution of Electrical Energy and Safety Audits as per IEC standards. 2) Carrying out Inspection and Testing of Electrical LV, MV & HV Panels, Transformers, Cables and different types of critical Loads. 3) Carrying out Root Cause Analysis, Visual Inspection, Earthing, Load Management, Energy Analyzing and offering Power Factor Improvement Solutions to the company’s Clientele. 4) Coordinating with team members to ensure effective communication and maximum output. Preparing project documentations and reporting to the Manager Electrical.
1) Planning, estimating and supervising electrical installation work, supervising subordinates and coordination with Manager Electrical. 2) Determining procedures for maintenance, installation, modification and repair of electrical assignments subject to deadline as per designed specifications by the Client/ Consultant. Preparing projects documentation, wiring reports and give presentations to the reporting manager. 3) Ensuring the Health and Safety of the workers and the environment as per Clients requirements and ISO 45001:2018 and coordinating and cooperating with the workers with effective communication to ensure such Health and Safety standards.
My internship in K-Electric at BQPS-II was cognitive and learning oriented. In the tenure of internship we learned about the structure and functioning of BQPS-II specifically for electrical power system generation, transmission, distribution and protection. It was focused on practical exposure of power production through the Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) of BQPS-II.
