I'm currently a structural design engineer at Magnusson Klemencic Associates, working in the existing buildings group. I recently completed my Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering at the University of Michigan, along with my Master of Business Administration and my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Cincinnati. I have gained analysis, design, and management experiences in the energy, industrial, commercial, residential, and government sectors from multiple internships prior. I'm well-versed modeling softwares such as Revit, AutoCAD and FormIT, analysis softwares such as ETABS, SAP2000, VisualAnalysis, Tekla Tedds, RISA3D, RAM, and other various design/analysis softwares. I have a passion for understanding and designing complicated, economical, and environmentally friendly structures for new and existing buildings with a multitude of materials. I plan to work on projects that have significant impacts to the community they represent.
For CEE 211 (Statics and Dynamics)
• Conducted large-scale structural analysis and design on commercial, governmental, industrial, and residential projects • Utilized software such as ETABS, RAM Connector, LPile, SP, and Tedds to design new steel, concrete, masonry, etc. • Drafted and modeled structural elements (beams, columns, joists, slabs, foundations, etc.) with Revit • Produced design criteria from multiple codes for new and existing building structures (ASCE, UFC, IBC, and more) • Deciphered old, antiquated drawings to remodel and reanalyze existing structures
• Helping prospective students and families get a feel for our University and all it offers via programs, facilities, and community • Crafting unique tours each time to highlight what the group is most interested in • Communicating effectively by projecting, clearly speaking, and detailing all speaking points
• Assisted students with all inquiries related to career strategies • Held mock interviews to help students practice their professional social skills • Reviewed professional documents such as resumes, cover letters, and statements of purpose
• Created lesson plans for hour long review sessions with students • Tutored students who struggle in math subjects • Gained an understanding on various paths of teaching
• Visited sites across the Bay Area for waterproofing inspections, water testing, facade investigations, roof investigations, and more • Created and edited field reports that would be sent out to clients • Utilized software like Bluebeam and SketchUp to create new sections and details, and edit existing drawings • Collaborated with multiple organizations on the same project to complete tasks on site • Gained an understanding of materials and strategies used to minimize water damage for buildings and structures
