Serenova is a Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) provider with global operations based in Austin, Texas. As counsel, I was responsible for all operations of the legal department, including all aspects of the commercial contract management life cycle for SaaS and telephony services. I drafted, reviewed, negotiated and managed contracts with customers, vendors, and channel partners. As Serenova's Data Protection Officer, I was responsible for the management of Serenova's privacy program including Privacy Shield membership, and General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") compliance. I assisted with a wide variety of matters, including employment issues, and providing counsel to all levels of executive staff.
