The Qualiphar Exellence Team is a multiple skilled team of 4 persons, active in supporting the Operations, Safety and QA/QC departments by: • RCA-investigations with six sigma YB/GB-methodology • Identification and realisation of CC- and CAPA-actions • Gemba Walks • Internal Audits • Management of QMS-documentation and linked trainingplans • Mentoring/coaching (soft skills) • Communication improvements via visual management • Creation of production efficiency follow-up dashboards and -tools driving CI

• Development of different 1h during webinars on LSS-tools like 5S, VSM, RCA, Usage of Graphs, Brainstorming, FMEA,... • Development of Yellow Belt Hybrid Training Program for small and large groups. • Deliver (individual) training and/or excel-support to other colleague-consultants. This training goes from advanced functions over pivot tables and -charts to end with VBA-macro's and power query • Coaching and mentorship of different junior colleagues on project- and/or soft-skills
• Deliver assistance to the Cast House Process Technologist by searching and resolving the daily production troubles in the aluminum EMC-casting process (EMC = Electro Magnetic Casting) by using the DMAIC approach. • Developed and maintained (daily) an EMC process parameter data base to predict the best cast conditions for the different alloys to minimize bad-starting-up-of-castings and safety risks for the operators. • Developed and maintained Excel control charts for the EMC cooling water process as a “watch-dog” for the water-treatment department. • Performed weekly, together with the First Line Leadership, a safety gemba walk
As a member of the Central Operational Excellence Team, I am responsible for: • Facilitating Lean and Kaizen projects • Yield improvement (SMED and AWO) • VSM and Flow optimization • co-developing of the site OpEx-strategy • Progressive 5S roll-out and support • Visual Management (SQDC-boards,...) • Change Management • Coaching of candidate Green Belts • Leading Green or Black Belt projects • Support or facilitate other departments during root cause investigations at other departments, suppliers or clients
Temporary assignment: stabilise the operations of the Chemical QC lab and inventorise a list of (missing) processes to improve.
Main responsibilities: • Re-implimenting the 5S program (roles and responsibilites, Kaizens, audits, KPI’s) • Facilitate SMED and AWO exercises • Introduction and training of six-sigma yellow belt methodology and tools. • Coaching of candidate Yellow Belts • Introduction of the shopfloor and middle management into the methodology of the Practicing Perfection Institute to avoid/eliminate accidents and risks towards Human Error.
Main responsibilities: • Green Belt projects in technical environment (Formulation, Filling, Inspection, Documentation). • Lean Black Belt project in administrative and transactional environment (reducing leadtime for SOP updates and optimization of documentation flow) • Black Belt project: Optimization of the material flow and support of the complete aseptic manufacturing facility. • Coordination of a new documentsystem in 7 production departments • OEE implementation and follow-up • Coordination of VHP-decontamination of the aseptic production area after shutdowns • Member of the Audit Task Force • Member of the System team Deviations
Main responsibilities: • Leading and coaching 8 operators. I worked in a 3-shift production schedule. • Ensure that SOP’s are followed, up-to-date or created when necessary. • Co-responsible for the agenda of the Focus Operational Team (multi-departmental team that revised the weekly operations/problems/technical issues) • Defining and follow up of KPI’s. • Efficiency reporting on DOR-meeting by mean of OEE- and FTT-measurements • Contact-person for the QA/QC department • Review of production batch records and advice changes on master batch records • Back-up for scheduler • Optimizing the production process • Central contact-person for other departments as there are: maintenance, process automation, cost accounting and plant performance (industrial engineering). I was often consulted by these departments when the department manager was absent.
