About

I am a strategic fundraising and communications director with executive experience in national and international non-profit organisations. I lead teams, shape long-term funding strategies and build partnerships that strengthen impact, visibility and financial sustainability. At Light for the World Belgium, I oversee the full fundraising and communications portfolio and manage an annual revenue framework of around €3.5 million. I lead individual giving, major donors, legacies, institutional fundraising and corporate partnerships, while ensuring ethical and effective communication, strong donor engagement and a clear strategic narrative. I also supervise CRM, data systems and performance management to support growth and organisational resilience. In 2023, I served as Co-Director during a transitional leadership period. In that role, I shared executive responsibility across strategy, governance, finance, HR, fundraising, communications and programme oversight. It gave me the opportunity to strengthen internal structures, support multi-year planning and ensure organisational stability. Before joining Light for the World, I worked for more than seven years at the Belgian Cystic Fibrosis Association, where I was promoted to Deputy Director. I contributed to the management of an organisational budget of more than €4 million and led the fundraising and communications portfolios, focusing on revenue growth, stakeholder engagement and long-term financial planning. I enjoy creating clarity, building strong partnerships and helping organisations grow through grounded strategy, transparent communication and measurable results.
