Registered Nurse | MDS Consultant | Founder of Confident Coordinator Solutions I help skilled nursing and long-term care teams create stronger MDS processes, improve workflow consistency, support staff development, and optimize reimbursement opportunities through practical, real-world guidance. After years working in nursing leadership and operational roles within long-term care, I saw firsthand how overwhelming the MDS and reimbursement process can become when teams are understaffed, unsupported, or constantly operating in reactive mode. I also saw how much smoother facilities run when coordinators and interdisciplinary teams are given the right systems, training, and support to succeed confidently. That experience led me to create Confident Coordinator Solutions — a consulting and support service focused on helping facilities strengthen processes while supporting the people behind them. My approach is collaborative, practical, and solutions-focused. I believe consistency is built through education, communication, organization, and ongoing support — not pressure or blame. Areas I support include: • MDS process improvement • Reimbursement optimization • Workflow consistency • New coordinator support and training • Medicare and PDPM guidance • Interdisciplinary communication support • Documentation process education • Operational and systems support My background as an RN as well as a Self-Discovery Coach, certified in Life, Health, Divorce and soon to be neuroscience allows me to propel new coordinators forward with confidence. I’m passionate about helping teams reduce overwhelm, increase confidence, and create systems that work more effectively for both staff and residents. Let’s connect if you’re looking for practical MDS support that builds consistency and optimizes reimbursement.
Confident Coordinator Solutions was created to help nurses confidently transition into and thrive in the MDS Coordinator role through practical training, mentorship, workflow development, and real-time support. Drawing on years of experience in long-term care, nursing leadership, reimbursement management, and MDS operations, I help nurses develop the knowledge, systems, and confidence needed to navigate the complexities of Medicare, PDPM, assessments, care planning, and interdisciplinary coordination. My mission is to create stronger, more self-sufficient MDS teams by providing practical education that reduces overwhelm, improves consistency, and supports professional growth. Services Include: • MDS Coordinator mentoring and training • New MDS Coordinator onboarding support • Medicare and PDPM education • Assessment and ARD strategy guidance • Workflow and time management systems • Documentation review and process improvement • Interdisciplinary communication strategies • Ongoing support for nurses transitioning into MDS roles I believe great MDS Coordinators are developed through education, mentorship, and practical experience, not by being expected to figure everything out alone. Helping nurses build confidence, strengthen skills, and create successful careers in MDS is at the heart of everything I do.
