Kristina is a plant pathologist with incredible experience in breeding, diseases, pests & weeds management, focusing on idea translation into the industry. She is skilled in initiating innovations, strategic planning, event planning, project preparation, and implementation. All pragmatic knowledge and experience were used for idea materialization to a successful project proposal. Her first grant was a Horizon 2020 project called ECOBREED, with a total budget of €6 million, where she was a Work Package Leader. Afterward, Kristina received a total budget of €7 million for three Horizon Europe projects she wrote. Furthermore, her interest in state-of-the-art technology, with a particular focus on sensing technology, linked her with the avant-garde group of Prof. Dr. Goran Stojanović from the Faculty of Technical Science, University of Novi Sad. Moreover, Kristina successfully cooperates with several different R&D institutions in the multidisciplinary research and innovation domain. Kristina is a mom of three kids with excellent manageable skills since she always finds time for friends, traveling, and discovering new cultures. She adores animals and goes to the gym. Kristina volunteers at the Balkan Puppy Hub.
