Rotation 1: Neurosurgery at Charing Cross Hospital • Managed neurosurgical adult inpatients with both cranial and spinal presentations. • Performed various ward-based neurosurgical procedures including lumbar drain insertion and EVD management. • Assisted in theatres in both cranial and spinal cases. • Completed neurosurgical on-call shifts and managed acutely unwell neurosurgical patients under senior supervision. Rotation 2: General Practice at Parkview Practice • Conducted independent consultations for patients with acute, chronic, and preventive care needs. • Developed and implemented patient-centred management plans, coordinating investigations, referrals, and follow-up care. Rotation 3: Gastroenterology at Hammersmith Hospital • Managed patients with a range of hepatobiliary conditions. • Contributed to safe post-endoscopy care, particularly following ERCP, ensuring appropriate monitoring and early recognition of complications.
Rotation 1: Respiratory Medicine • Managed acute and chronic respiratory conditions including COPD, pneumonia, lung cancer, and asthma. • Performed routine ward-based procedures and contributed to safe discharge planning. Rotation 2: Geriatric Medicine • Carried out assessment and management of complex elderly inpatients. • Worked as part of the acute medical on-call rota and responded to cardiac arrest calls as a member of the resuscitation team. Rotation 3: Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery • Managed elective and emergency T&O inpatients, including perioperative care and postoperative complications management. • Assisted in theatre in a range of orthopaedic procedures and gained exposure to acute fracture management.
In Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics (and EPQ) • Through MyTutor, I have been tutoring students in an online lesson space and have completed numerous lessons across all 5 subjects. • I have a rating of 5/5 stars based on reviews from students/parents. • Currently, I am teaching students across all of the aforementioned subjects at both A-level and GCSE levels. • I am capable of quickly switching between topics and even subjects, which allows me to both help my students in more than one subject and respond to their questions promptly without any preparation.
