Translational Research in CNS disorders & Autoimmunity | PhD

About

I’m a neuroscientist with a PhD in neuroimmunology, specialized in gut-brain axis, blood–brain barrier biology, and antibody-mediated neuroinflammation with a strong focus on clinical translation. My work focuses on immune-CNS interactions in Multiple Sclerosis and MOGAD, with additional experience in Alzheimer’s disease and rare pediatric neurodegenerative disorders. I’ve supported preclinical research aligned with regulatory standards, contributed to cross-sector translational initiatives, and help define biomarker strategies for emerging therapies, including CAR-T. Trained within the Marie-Curie industry-academia network, I bring a strong foundation in translational science, stakeholder engagement, and scientific communication. I also advocate for sex and gender precision medicine through my work at the Women’s Brain Foundation, where I co-lead research with policy relevance. I’m passionate about bringing science into action, and now seeking opportunities where I can contribute my scientific expertise, regulatory awareness, and cross-sector mindset to advance neuroscience innovation and improve patient outcomes.
