Like many, I found my career passion after a few twists and turns in life. I pursued and achieved a Degree in Art from the University of Central Florida. I earned my first yoga certification from Kripalu Center. And then, several years later, I attended and graduated from the Florida Coastal School of Law and then the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law. On my journey, I learned that I love helping people navigate conflict and challenges in their lives. As my work in this area deepens, so deepens my understanding of how conflict hinders our optimal function in both our work and personal lives. I practice (often imperfectly, but I keep trying!) what I teach by being a mindful listener and being compassionate about the challenges people face in their personal and professional careers. When speaking and teaching, I embrace the power of the "collective mind" in the room to drive the conversations that build rapport, resolve conflict, drive motivation, and solidify staff relations. I apply these same techniques when facilitating group processes and have found that solutions to conflicts almost always lie within the hearts and minds of the participants. Taught self-developed online graduate course on behavior in conflict as part of the UCF Legal Studies conflict resolution graduate certificate program.
◦ Developed curriculum using Canvas online platform resulting in enhanced student participation and learning in face-to-face, online, and mixed-mode courses. ◦ Taught self-developed curriculum in face-to-face and online settings, focusing on conflict resolution, self regulation, and professionalism resulting in real-world application of learning, personal transformation, and enhanced student capacity for navigating the rigors of personal life and professional careers. ◦ Developed graduate and undergraduate-level curricula for new classes resulting in conflict resolution certificate programs for the University and award of UCF Quality Online Course badges.

▪ Researched, developed, and delivered new programs on conflict resolution and mediation. Produced PowerPoint presentations and authored handouts for up to 18 attendees. ▪ Scheduled and managed weekly classes conducted by Mediators, the Owner, and Guest Facilitators. Ensured program facilitators were briefed on seminar procedures and that dates/times were confirmed. ▪ Delivered applicable handouts, certificates, and PowerPoint presentations to Client Services Teams to prepare for the following week’s class. ▪ Worked with CPLS marketing department to drive marketing (e.g. email campaigns/broadcasts) and gain more attendees to the weekly and monthly seminars. ▪ Coordinated course accreditation for continuing legal education through the Florida Bar for classes taught at the Monday Mediation Mixer. Ensured class content qualified for continuing mediator education.
