I am passionate about working on projects that benefit the community and make a difference in a person's life. I find it rewarding to help clients accomplish critical milestones on complex projects and help them navigate challenges that may occur along the way. I have worked on major transit projects in Honolulu, Hawaii and San Diego and Los Angeles, California. The projects I've worked on in Honolulu and San Diego are under construction, which is extremely rewarding!! In my various roles, I: * Lead transportation and environmental planning efforts for a wide range of studies, including transit, wetlands mitigation, Quiet Zone feasibility, and parking * Manage preparation of environmental documents compliant with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) * Prepare documents in support of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) New Starts applications for Project Development and Engineering, and in support of a Full Funding Grant Agreement (FFGA) * Maintain NEPA and CEQA compliance with environmental clearance during Final Design and construction * Manage work prepared for most of the technical disciplines that are typically included in an environmental document * Manage resource agency permitting process and compliance with permits * Coordinate with federal, state, and regional agencies, stakeholders, and the public
