Offering comprehensive and clear-cut advice through my corporate finance background, I have been an active participant for over 10 years in developing Hong Kong's fintech ecosystem. Working alongside sophisticated and innovative clients, I advise on an array of matters including but not limited to structuring, licensing and corporate governance. I am very involved with the regulation and licensing requirements for digital assets, stablecoins, payments / alternative payments, developing equity crowdfunding platforms, robo advisory apps and the structuring, set-up and running of compliant crypto-exchanges to name just a few. I have practiced law in Hong Kong for over 20 years, and work with emerging growth companies through to listed multinational corporations in Hong Kong, United States, Asia and Europe. In 2018, I formed Swartz, Binnersley & Associates which in the few short years since its inception has garnered industry recognition as a bespoke fintech firm. I care deeply about our community and sit on the board of directors for the Faith In Love Foundation (a Hong Kong registered charity) and Global Women Connect (a Hong Kong registered charity), as well as being a founding member of the 30% Club’s Hong Kong chapter. I am also honoured to be an ambassador of The Women’s Foundation as well as sitting on the LITE Lab Advisory Committee hosted by Hong Kong University to shape and inspire the aspirations of our younger generation.
