Responsible for creating and executing the performance test strategy for the Stytch BI Platform. Also led a cross-functional Continuous Delivery effort to optimize test and deployment efficiency, which resulted in fully automated push button deployments capable of shipping daily.
Responsible for defining and executing the product roadmap for Move Inc.’s Moving business, specifically focused on growing organic leads. This resulted in an over 50% y/y increase, pushing organic lead counts to a 7 year high. Initiatives undertaken included: - Initiating, planning, and executing a full site redesign of Moving.com. Included feature prioritization, design specification, honing of value propositions, working extensively with UX on new layouts, setting and tracking exit criteria, and running an AB split test of the new site. Resulted in up to 100% increases in conversion, 10% increases of time on site, and a 7% reduction in bounce rates - Working with internal and external SEO teams to implement best practices including partitioning thin content, link clean-up, implementing Schema.org, and minimizing duplicate content. SEO improvements, along with site redesign efforts, contributed to a dramatic 250% increase in Page 1 Google SERP keyword rankings and nearly doubled traffic and leads to our core Moving.com site. - Collaborating with fellow Product Managers within Move Inc. to research, size, develop, and optimize Moving lead opportunities on other product lines. These efforts allowed us to grow organic leads by 10%. - Developing new business models to more accurately forecast future organic lead volumes. Using these models we were able to accurately predict Q1 - Q3 2014 organic lead volumes to within 0.2%. This included: - Hiring, training, and mentoring the Performance Engineering Team and managing day to day operations of the team. - Evangelizing performance principals and best practices across the organization. - Acting as a performance Product Manager for Realtor.com and leading a Performance SWAT Team who's efforts resulted in a 76% reduction in response times and a 60% improvement in consumer satisfaction on performance. - Overseeing the performance test effort for two major re-writes of Realtor.com. - Developing an initiative to share ownership of performance validation tasks with Development by finding and training Performance Champions. - Driving an effort to acquire and roll out dynaTrace across the organization. This effort resulted in optimizations that reduced our Web Server hardware footprint by 83%. - Driving initiatives within the Performance Engineering Team to increase levels of automation in an effort to increase team efficiency. - Acting as top tier support for investigation of performance issues in production. This included issues rooted in all levels of the technology stack from browser through to the databases and SOLR.
Acted as the performance technical lead and was responsible for all performance testing and performance issue investigation on the company's web-based products. This included: - Owning performance testing of the real estate industry’s most popular CRM tool, Top Producer, with over 70,000 paid subscribers. - Working with senior management to devise performance test strategies and processes that aligned with product development life-cycles. - Reviewing product designs for potential scalability and performance issues to root out performance bugs early in the product development life-cycle. - Performance tuning existing applications to find performance bottlenecks.
