Krister holds an MBA with distinction from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago, USA (2002) and a 1st Class Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from Strathclyde University in Glasgow, UK (1994). He speaks Norwegian (mother tongue), is fluent in English and German (spoken) and speaks some French.
