During my 4-week internship at Webstack Academy, I independently developed HomelyHub, a comprehensive hotel booking website, as part of my training in Full Stack Web Development with the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack. Throughout the project, I demonstrated proficiency in both front-end and back-end development. I single-handedly implemented responsive user interfaces using React.js, ensuring an intuitive booking experience for users across devices. On the back-end, I designed and implemented a robust infrastructure using Node.js and Express.js, facilitating seamless communication between the client-side and server-side components of the application. To ensure efficient data management, I utilized MongoDB to create a flexible and scalable database schema capable of securely storing hotel information and user data. By leveraging MongoDB's document-oriented approach, I optimized data retrieval and storage processes, contributing to the overall performance and reliability of the application. My internship experience at Webstack Academy not only allowed me to strengthen my technical skills in Full Stack Web Development but also instilled in me a sense of responsibility and autonomy in tackling complex projects independently.
