Started my journey as a Sales Intern with Amul India (GCMMF), based in Indore, through a self-sourced opportunity. In this role, I am actively involved in market research and analysis, engaging in direct sales and retailer meetings, and supporting ongoing marketing initiatives. I am also working on understanding and contributing to sales strategy execution, including outlet coverage, customer engagement, and improving on-ground sales performance. Gained hands-on exposure to India’s fast-paced General Trade ecosystem through an internship with Procter & Gamble, facilitated by Chamadia Group (handling P&G’s sales operations in Maharashtra). Worked closely with on-ground sales teams across Ulhasnagar to understand daily beat planning, outlet coverage, order-taking processes, and workflow execution. Observed how distribution networks and supply chain efficiency directly influence product availability and market performance. This experience provided real-world insights into managing sales in high-density markets like Mumbai and Pune, where consistency, speed, and execution define success.
