My postdoctoral research in the group of Assoc. Prof. Salvador Eslava (Department of Chemical Engineering) will be focused on photocatalytic and photoelectrochemical approaches for producing solar fuels and chemicals.
I tutor Mathematics, Electrical Engineering and Energy Systems courses to 1st and 2nd year Engineering Science students (2-3 students per group; 8-9 students in total). I also set and mark college collections (termly assessments) and contribute to the general administration of Engineering Science teaching in the college.
My postdoctoral research in the group of Professor Henry Snaith FRS (within the sub-department of Condensed Matter Physics) revolved around exploring novel superlattice architectures for efficient and stable perovskite light emitting diodes (LEDs) through a combination of solution and vacuum thermal evaporation methods.
As a part of the Emerging Solar Technologies (EST) group at SERIS, I worked on setting up the CIGS solar cells R&D pilot line in Singapore and also contributed to the development of novel transparent oxide materials at SERIS in collaboration with PVComB, Germany.
