The estimated 1 billion slum inhabitants worldwide would mean an unlimited source of work for Studio ROSA if we would keep everything to ourselves, upgrading slums. But I'm not immortal and would like to see the end of it. The fact that I want to see the end of slums worldwide means I take a big risk. When I am succesful making an end to slums worldwide I make ourselves unemployed. I'm willing to take that risk!

From informal slums to inclusive cities. "To do anything regarding the home that can be considered to alleviate poverty and improve health in the city of Utrecht." That was the motto of the Utrecht company to improvement of homes for the working class and less wealthy in 1855. I take this mission into the neighborhoods and the world, where an estimated 1 billion people still dwell in slums.
