Accomplishments: • Obtained over €2.8m funding for the TSSG from competitive sources. • Project Managed many R&D projects using agile processes. All projects were brought to successful completion. • Successfully managed international projects to completion such as B4R (funded through the e-TEN scheme) which had a total cost of €1.7m and involved 7 consortium partners from across Europe, where I was the overall manager. I also managed one part of the EFIPSANS project (funded through the EU FP scheme) which constituted 883 person months and was funded for €6.78m. • Successfully delivered all projects on time and I was brought in to consult on another project which had failed its interim review. • Commercialized R&D projects either to IP license or, in one case where sufficient potential was established, I created a new start-up company.

      Managed the billing production system at Nextel (now Sprint) for 17m customers with a focus on speed and accuracy. Managed three teams – 18 people in total - to correct any inaccuracies. There were 24 billing cycles per month that invoiced over $1bn per month and any delays to a billing cycle cost around $60,000 per day. Accomplishments: • Managed the reduction in the time to create/audit/mail invoices from 4 to 2 days. • Increased invoice accuracy from 96.2% to 99.6% by number of invoices sent. • Increased invoice accuracy from 99.98% to 99.99% by revenue.
