Kieran Q. is an experienced founder, advisor, and manager first working in the US for seven years before moving to Asia where he advises a portfolio of global clients while running the sales and people departments at Cococart.co (YC S21). During this time, he has gained extensive experience across various industries and functions, including fintech sales, digital marketing, venture capital, private equity operations, executive search, recruiting, and strategy consulting. Despite his vastly different industry focus in each position, Kieran's ability to effectively and concisely convey the value of the product or service he provides and the mission of the organizations he supports has allowed him to succeed. His educational background includes a degree from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business. After graduating from UC Berkeley, Kieran founded a US-based consultancy firm called Sonoma Coast Consulting (SCC), which quickly expanded to employ around a dozen professionals. Initially, SCC worked on projects across California before expanding its reach to other parts of the US. Feeling confident in the organization he had built in the US, Kieran decided to venture overseas to Europe and Asia in search of a suitable market to bring SCC to. He landed first in Malaysia and then in Thailand, where he currently serves a global portfolio of clients. Kieran's skills and experience in business development and people management have been instrumental in his role as the Head of People and Business Development at Cococart.co, a Sequoia/YC-backed E-commerce startup where he was hire #1 and has helped Cococart to reach new heights currently servicing +50k businesses across 121 countries. In his spare time, Kieran enjoys simple things like swimmable water, motors, and good food. He likes the bustling city life as well as the tranquility of small towns and villages. Kieran prefers to travel around Thailand often and has broken over 30 bones in his lifetime, earning him the moniker of a professional bone breaker.
