(Project based) Senior System Engineer for the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator S.A. (HEDNO). Responsible for a Data Center including a VMWARE vSphere 6.0 with 10 ESXi Servers and more than 80 Virtual servers, a SAP infrastructure based on MS Hyper-V Servers (19 Physical and 5 Virtual Servers). Responsible for 1. Documenting the new created procedures concerning security (SAP - Active Directory - Auditing) and use of workstations and servers (ITIL methodology). 2. Documentation of the present situation of the Data Centers belonging to HEDNO SA. 3. Installation and configuration of IBM Security and Auditing Software (QRADAR). 4. Installation and configuration of performance tuning and log checking of all the servers. (virtual and physical) with different software (Vmware Operation Manager, Veeam ONE). 5. Assisting Active Directory security team with every day auditing tasks, on Database servers (SQL - ORACLE), AD servers, Application and File servers. 6. Responsible for replacing (installation and configuration) more than 10 Cisco ESXi servers installed on different geographical point in Greece. On the ESXi servers will be installed 2 Virtual servers (AD server + File and Application server). 7. Co-responsible for upgrading the VMWARE farm (ESXi servers and VMWARE appliances) from version 5.5 to 6.0. 8. Responsible for configuring the new (Cisco) switches in the new main building of HEDNO. 9. Responsible for the installation and training of WebEx software for the upper management personnel.
