Commodity Buyer for Cell & Electronic
- Identification of new potential supplier from the Eastern European region. - Support in quality analysis/development of suppliers. - Keeping track of RFQ's. - Negotiations with suppliers - Organization of quality and logistics audits - Leading cooperation between VW departments and subsidiaries.
Planning of supply base, overview of purchase order creation. Managing vendors to keep the need by date and quality of orders, responsible to find alternate solutions/vendor base if needed. Participating in projects regarding process improvement and creating ad-hoc reports to indentify process failures and implement resolutions, creation of training materials. Daily tasks also include contact with suppliers and various GE subsidiaries using English language.
Responsible for keeping contact with suppliers in English and German, managing goods arrival in SAP, avoiding line break down, solving ad-hoc problems, intercompany sales activity.
Participation in research projects. Help in organization, making, execution and grading of exams, attending to departmental tasks.
