Gathering & analysing OSINT; taking part in the development of a C-UAV system
During my time as a reserve cadet in the German Armed Forces, I completed a two-year officer training program in the Reconnaissance Training Battalion 3 “Lüneburg”, gaining experience as a vehicle commander in an armoured reconnaissance unit. In addition to completing the required training in the School of Armoured Troops (Panzertruppenschule) and the German Army's Officer School (Offizierschule des Heeres), I successfully finished the German Infantry School's "Einzelkämpferlehrgang", often described as the German Army's Commando or Ranger-type Course. Throughout this course, I learned to lead a squad of 10-12 soldiers under extreme physical stress, combined with prolonged sleep and food deprivation. This experience taught me how artificial most self-imposed physical and mental limits truly are.
During my gap year in the Arava Desert of Southern Israel, I worked in agriculture (a date plantation). The six-day working week shared with fellow volunteers and guest workers from 4 different continents, combined with the extreme temperatures, provided a unique experience.
