    Development of a validated finite element model in Abaqus that simulates the effects of liquid sloshing on tanks under earthquake loading. Wrote a code in Matlab for output processing in order to create plots of stresses applied to the tank walls. Further study will include, modeling of an unanchored tank as well as a parametric study of how the wall thickness affects the overall system strength.
