I completed my mandatory military service in the Hellenic Army, serving in the 23rd Engineering Company of the 23rd Armored Brigade. I underwent specialized training at the School of Military Engineering in Loutraki and was assigned the role of Sapper–Mine Clearance Operator. This specialty included essential field engineering skills such as minefield detection and clearance, fortification construction, demolition, and tactical terrain preparation. During my service, I carried out combat engineering duties and also held a support role in the Company’s First Bureau, contributing to internal organization and operations. Additionally, I applied my background as an Architect Engineer to deliver technical design work supporting infrastructure needs for the unit, the brigade, and the division. Toward the end of my service, I was awarded the rank of Corporal (Reserve), a distinction granted selectively to soldiers who demonstrate reliability, leadership potential, and consistent contribution to the unit’s function.
