In this position I'm leading a team of specialists focusing on: - Project management for global logistics projects - Cost analysis and budgeting support for the global logistics department - Network analysis and planning with regards to regional and global supply chains - Business analysis for IT requirements and IT project management for global logistics - Technical logistics with regards to state of the art technologies handling appliances Projects and initiatives range from: - Implementing distribution networks across global markets with focus on the European market - Rollout of ERP logistics processes including the implementation of 3PL providers via IT interfaces as well as analysing, evaluating and implementing market specific requirements in the global ERP-template - Analysis of distribution networks and evaluation of cost savings as well as implementation of cost saving activities - Execution of global transport and logistics tenders - Implementation of new WMS (warehouse management system) across the global plants of Liebherr Appliances - And much more… My task is to provide leadership and support for the initiatives and projects executed by my team. In addition to that I'm in a consulting role inside Liebherr Appliances‘ supply chain function with a focus on - but not limited to - logistics processes.
In this position I led various logistics projects ranging from the adjustment of regional logistics networks (reduction of logistics network with 9 distribution centres to 2 distribution centres) to the support of go-to-market initiatives on the European continent from a logistics point of view.
IT requirements management for various topics ranging from supplier evaluation to financial metrics. Also performing project management for enabling a multiple sourcing strategy for suppliers as well as various other projects ranging from the global transition to the office suite Microsoft Office, implementation of a groupwide access and canteen payment system to the implementation of SAP PPDS for the global plants of Diehl Controls. In addition to that I was collaborating in groupwide working groups responsible for identifying, defining and evaluating groupwide synergies. This activity connected perfectly to my role in the divisional project portfolio management in which I supported the divisional IT leadership.
