Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, Enclosed please find my Personal Statement: Right from an early age, I organized groups by allocating tasks or roles in games and I always wanted things to be optimized. I benefited from these organizational skills during my school education in various countries and cultures, but it also helped me being a team player (e.g. football or volleyball) and being a tutor for German students in English. Since then, I have further developed as I learned self-criticism and to acknowledge and learn from failures and enjoy successes. My international school experiences in Bangkok, Brussels, Barcelona and Hamburg have proven to be significant, since they taught me tolerance and patience in an international environment and to perform under pressure. However, the most important lessons from my practical and international experience are that it is not always possible to exactly apply theory to companies and that you should always be prepared for the unexpected As my undergraduate degree, I chose Bachelor of Science in International Management at the International School of Management in Hamburg. This is a unique program in terms of the skills, capabilities and development opportunities. During my bachelor studies, I took subjects from the areas of Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Management and organizational behaviour. I gained the skills and abilities to manage my time, prioritize work and to cope well with deadlines. With my Bachelor thesis in Human Resources, I conducted my own analytical experiment. In addition to my academic studies, I also experienced internships and voluntary work. This experience made me realize how fortunate I am to be in good health and to have an emotionally and financially secure background and it taught me empathy and humility and the importance of valuing others. Apart from football and golf I enjoy playing the piano and electric guitar which helped me to realize my limits and other capabilities and are an ideal way for me to relax and switch off. Finally, your international reputation supports to meet new people and companies from all over the world – opening my perspective personally and as a future global resource.
