About

I am currently the Henry Giroux Executive Dean of the School of Liberal Arts and Humanities at Woxsen University in India. As a passionate learner, inspiring teacher, and memorable educator, I am classically rooted, student-centered, and wisdom-oriented. Based on the Great Books tradition, my pedagogical practice centers on international education, intercultural communication, and global work experiences. My five postgraduate degrees in Law, Politics, and Education are all from globally highly-ranked institutions, namely from the universities of Bonn in Germany, Bath in the United Kingdom, and Paris-Sorbonne in France (QS #72-207). Studies in Germany, England, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, China, and the UAE, and work experiences in Germany, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Canada, Panama, China, the UAE, and India reflect my in-depth, interdisciplinary, and multilingual preparation. My transdisciplinary research in Cultural Studies unites solid theory and lived practice. For example, I investigate cosmopolitanism as professional and personal world citizenship and identity, and multilingualism as linguistic and cultural learning and mastery. This research benefits interactively engaged teaching, and international conference keynoting, chairing, and emceeing. Achievements: - 102 print publications in international education, language learning, comparative literature, cultural identity, gender and cinema studies, sustainable tourism, art history, and personal prose. - 62 different subjects taught in the humanities and social sciences; 12 of them on Master's level. - 173 officially invited international conference keynote speeches. - 339 overall and official international conference presentations. - 16 conference presentation languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Catalan, Romanian, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Arabic, Russian, Greek, Turkish, and Latin. - Keynotes, chairing, and emceeing at the universities of Harvard, MIT, Oxford, Cambridge, London, Greenwich, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Istanbul, Lisbon, Malta, Warsaw, and others. - Virtual keynotes at the universities of London, Athens, Prague, Palma, Marbella, and others. - Detailed organizers' appreciation certificates for all international activities and achievements.
