Wouter Kolk is currently Non-Executive and investor in a large variety of large scale multinational companies in Consumer Retail, Food & Non-Food, Fashion & Sports also in Media, Technology & AI and B2B (paints & coatings) Next to his vast experience as a NED Wouter is also active as senior advisor for McKinsey Co assisting on various projects and is actively supporting the Climate Museum and Word Press Photo in the advisory committees. Wouter also currently acts as an executive coach for several CEO’s. Wouter has a long tenure at AholdDelhaize and ended as Chief Executive Officer Europe and Indonesia on October in ‘25. Responsible for the various retail brands (f.e. Albert Heijn, Bol.com, Delhaize, Albert, Mega Image, Super Indo, Gall&Gall, etc). He joined the board at the merger in ‘16 Wouter re-joined Ahold in ‘13 as Executive Vice President Specialty Stores and New Markets at Albert Heijn following a six-year period as CEO of international retailer WE Fashion. He became CEO Albert Heijn in January ‘14 Wouter first started at Ahold in ‘91 as a trainee and over the next 16 years served in several international commercial and general management roles, including Commercial Director Asia-Pacific based in Singapore, Regional Director Albert Heijn, CEO Gall & Gall and CEO of Etos. Wouter was also the chairman of the supervisory board of Paradiso (‘23-‘13) and NED for the Hortus Botanicus (‘20-‘13) both located in Amsterdam
