As a pricing executive in Etiqa Life Insurance Berhad, I mainly focus on group product pricing such as group term life product and monitoring group business performance by assessing group loss ratio monthly. Besides that, I am partially involved in one individual product pricing which provide a simple saving plan to the customer.
a. Group Product Pricing • Assisted in pricing for group policies by assessing clients' backgrounds, member data and claim experience in the past. • Maintained and enhanced the group quotation template. • Ensure new group business quotation and renewal business assessment and invitation ie Group Term Life, Group Hospital & Surgical and Group Outpatient done within the time frame and acceptance of risk within authority limit. b. Reporting • Used SAS to access group business data such as premium received and claim payout to study and analyse group business performance. • Used Prophet to access individual product data to help in preparing individual product performance reports. c. Individual Product Pricing • Carried out profit testing and sensitivity test for a simple individual saving product with life protection.
