With over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, I have cultivated expertise in advanced technologies and management roles. In 1988, I joined Toshiba and contributed to pivotal R&D divisions, including the ULSI Research Center, the Process & Manufacturing Engineering Center, and the Advanced Memory Development Center (AMDC). I also participated in Toshiba's first international alliance in semiconductor development—the quarter micron DRAM development collaboration with IBM and Siemens at IBM East Fishkill. These experiences broadened my perspective and honed my skills, particularly in semiconductor lithography technology and overall semiconductor process development. Through my involvement in R&D for these technologies, I made significant contributions to the field through conference presentations, published papers, and patented innovations. Subsequently, as General Manager of the Process Technology R&D Center at KIOXIA, I led research and management in semiconductor memory process technology, further solidifying my expertise in this area. After this role, I became General Manager of the Digital Transformation (DX) Technology R&D Center, where I directed AI and machine learning research to drive the development and implementation of DX technologies across the organization. Later, I served as the Head of the Research Strategy Planning Office at the Frontier Technology R&D Institute, leveraging my extensive experience to lead strategic research activities. Starting April 1, 2025, I will assume the position of Assistant to the Director at the Frontier Technology R&D Institute, taking on a broad range of responsibilities, including overseeing research and development and engaging in strategic and administrative tasks. With a relentless commitment to innovation and excellence, I eagerly look forward to collaborating with talented members to drive transformative advancements in cutting-edge technologies. 半導体業界で、30年以上の先端技術開発とマネジメントの経験があります。1988年に東芝に入社し、ULSI研究所、プロセス技術推進センター、先端メモリ開発センターなどの東芝半導体の主要な研究開発部門で技術開発に従事しました。東芝初の国際的な半導体開発アライアンスとなる、IBMおよびシーメンスとの0.25μm DRAM開発プロジェクト（＠IBM East Fishkill）にも参加しました。これらの経験を通じて、半導体リソグラフィ技術や半導体プロセス技術の開発全般に関する視野を広げ、スキルを磨いてきました。また、学会発表、論文執筆、特許取得を通じて半導体業界に貢献してきました。 その後、会社はキオクシアとなり、プロセス技術研究開発センター長として、半導体メモリのプロセス技術に関する研究とマネジメントを推進し、この分野の専門性をさらに深めました。また、デジタルトランスフォーメーション（DX）技術研究開発センター長として、AIや機械学習の研究を指導し、DX技術の開発・導入を促進しました。さらに、先端技術研究所の研究戦略企画室長として、豊富な経験を活かし、戦略的な研究活動を主導しました。 2025年4月1日より、キオクシア先端技術研究所の所長附として、研究開発の管理をはじめ、戦略的・行政的業務を幅広く担当しております。革新と卓越性への揺るぎない姿勢を持ち、優秀なメンバーと協力しながら、最先端技術の飛躍的な発展を目指しております。
