Singapore Polytechnic student pursuing a Diploma in Aerospace Electronics with a strong foundation in programming, data analysis, and aviation systems. Current coursework includes aircraft electrical systems, servomechanisms, and digital electronics, complemented by commercial pilot theory training. This academic experience has developed technical expertise in aerospace systems and a commitment to innovation in the field. As a Shop Staff at S5 Technology, contributed to daily sales growth and customer engagement in a driving simulator experience center, ensuring high-quality interactions and system performance for advanced simulation rigs. Concurrently, working with Singapore Aero Support Services in a maintenance role, applying technical skills to support operational efficiency. Looking to leverage a passion for aerospace and technology in future industry opportunities.
Currently doing part time at a driving simulator experience center as a shop staff. I am in charge of the daily sales and interactions with customers who wants to try the simulator or even perhaps purchase one for themselves. With each simulator rig worth between $10k-$15k each, it is my responsibility to ensure that each one is well taken care of to allow customers to have a good experience when they give it a try. With daily sales of about $300 on weekdays and about $500 on weekends, i usually try to push for more sales by approaching customers who are checking out the shop. Sometimes i even offer for them to play for a short while, free of charge, to let them get a feel for it, if they like it, i will charge them the usual rate. Furthermore, my boss's company was also hired by a few businesses to supply the simulators for the recent F1 event that took place back in September. Example was Bang & Olufsen which had a Ferrari event in which they rented one of our simulator rigs, one of the drivers( Oliver bearman) was invited to the event and he even signed the wheel. Furthermore, I also spent a fair amount of time at the warehouse assembling the rigs for customers. Many trial and error were encountered as there were multiple instructions, parts, and tools that were involved in the assembly. Through this, I developed a keen eye for detail and improved my problem-solving abilities, as each rig presented unique challenges. I learned to adapt quickly, troubleshoot issues on the fly, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely and accurate assembly. This hands-on experience not only strengthened my technical skills but also taught me the importance of organization and precision in a fast-paced work environment.
Assisted with event registration, verifying fan identities through ICs and passports to ensure accurate entry. Oversaw guest flow and provided ushering support to maintain a smooth and organized fan meet experience. Coordinated with event staff to handle crowd management and resolve on-site issues efficiently. Delivered a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience for attendees, contributing to the success of a high-profile international K-pop event.
During my internship at Singapore Aero Support Services (SASS), I rotated across Base Maintenance, Human Resources, and Logistics, gaining hands-on exposure to cabin maintenance tasks, aviation logistics, and administrative workflows. I also developed a CDIO prototype app to streamline task assignment and tracking. Base Maintenance Division • Assisted with aircraft seat cover changes, galley mat installation/removal, and cabin carpet fitting. • Cut carpets using aircraft templates for accurate sizing. • Learned daily maintenance workflows, hangar procedures, and coordination with technicians. Human Resources Department • Processed staff clearance forms and sorted/organised HR documents. • Cleaned up existing files and prepared printed documents for HR operations. Logistics Department • Followed logistics staff on battery cart operations across hangars. • Collected aircraft parts and delivered them to workshops or warehouses. • Completed manifests and helped secure large components like nose cowls and fairings. CDIO Project • Built a task-assignment app prototype featuring supervisor task uploads, technician task selection, colour-coded status updates, and photo-evidence completion checks.
Worked there as an IT assistant for the school. My role was to perform and complete the tasks assigned by the subject head. Throughout my time there, I had to edit and create a video for the school's morning assembly, which consisted of the national anthem, school song and the pledge. Furthermore, I was also tasked to create a montage video for the Parents Support Group in the school. I had to find suitable pictures to include in the video. Overall, it was an interesting experience to see behind the scenes of schools.
It was my first experience to do waitering. I only worked for two nights as the job for this role was extremely demanding. However, I was lucky enough to experience two sides of the roles as there were both people who served the clients as well as people who runs the back end. My first night was what they call a "runner", in which our job was to bring the drinks up from the basement to the designated galleys near the VIP rooms. After doing so, during the performance itself, I was tasked to do the topping up of food. Each room has a buffet styled dining, if the food is about to run out, waiters in the rooms text the group chat and we will then push carts of food to the following rooms to replace with a new dish. Same applies to the drinks. It was hectic but fun because of the other part-timers that i met. On the second and final night, I told the managers if i could try being the waiter as i have never done it before and would like to try. They allowed and i was positioned in a room with another part-timer. As the performance began, the guests came in bit by bit. In terms of serving the guests, we must pour them drinks should they request. For the food wise, they will take it themselves. The night went on and I was lucky enough to listen the live performances of both Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift. It was great and the people i met definitely made it memorable!
