As a loadmaster, my job is to supervise nd coordinate the loading nd offloading of any shipment o/b any cargolux flight ( Boeing 747-400F /B747- 800). To achieve that goal, prior flight arrival I am in charge of checking if shipments correctly built up, well tightened with required straps, accepting any DG cargo ( as DG cat 6 qualified) if planned for loading etc... After that, I check the weight of each ULD ( Unit Load Device to be carried on the flight) , collect the tags to plan the flight now. As qualified also for load planning, this is one of my skills. 0ne hour before flight arrival, I go on the tarmac to check all the FOD which can be there nd get everything ready to handle the flight. At arrival of the flight , I handle the flight with the GHA nd supervise averything from A/C choks - on to push back. The summary of my experience in this job is full of joyfull time. Sometimes difficult but always some objectives to achieve nd this is what I love the most in this job. Adding to the above, I am also good at handling TSC, AVI, Pharma, generating some lashing plan. I am also qualified for GDP healthcare acceptance nd loading nd above all I like this job. Before working for cargolux, I worked in a BANK for 01 year as charge customer ( 2013- December 2014). So I have a good adaptation capacity.
As deputy Operations coordinator, I am in charge of: - planning , preparing and executing the operations of export and import in coordination with all the staff involved; - pick-up of shipment , repacking, labelling ( when needed) , booking and scheduling for loading o/b the next available flight, boat or Truck; - Issuing Awb , transport label for both express shipment or normal freight; - Dangerous goods shipment ( packaging, labelling, marking, acceptance check-list review).
Cargo Pick up at customer warehouse; Issuing of Airwaybill and Dangerous goods declaration; Finding the right transportation package; Marking and labelling of shipment; Delivery of shipment at carrier premises; Shipment tracking; Booking of export and import shipment via DHL network.
Car Fleet management and planning of drivers; Responsible for cars maintenance ( draining, Insurance ); Responsible for accounting management.
LOAD PLANING AND LOADING SUPERVISION OF B747-400/ 8F AIRCRAFT (On Duty on +250 FLIGHTS) ; BUILD UP SUPERVISION OF DG, TSC, PIL, AVI AND OHG CARGO AS PER IATA REGULATION (+5000 TONES exported over this Period) ; COMPLYING WITH OTP PERFORMANCE AND AIRCRAFT SECURITY CHECK PERFORMED (BEST AFRICAN STATION IN 2019 WITH THE BEST OTP) ; PRODUCING A FLIGHT REPORT AND CONDUCTING STAFF BRIEFING AND DEBRIEFING (+250 FLIGHTS Handled) ; MANAGING PALLETS, STRAPS, XPC; INFORMING CUSTOMERS FOR ANY UPDATE (FUEL COST, NEW STATION, PRICE UPDATES ETC.)
BOOKING, ACCEPTANCE AND LOADING OF DG, TSC, PIL, AVI (+5000 TONES over this period); CARGO BUILD UP SUPERVISION WITH RIGHT CONTOURS AND ISSUING PALLET TAGS (+7200 PALLETS); MANAGING CREW CATERING ORDER AND DELIVERY AT AIRCRAFT ; SHIPMENTS DOCUMENTS CHECKING ( ABW, ACCPETANCE CHECKLIST, NOTOC, SPEC NOTOC ETC... +250 FLIGHTS HANDLED); INBOUND AND OUTBOUND SHIPMENT TRACKING (50 AWB/FLIGHT) ; PERFORMING AIRCRAFT SECURITY SEARCH PRIOR AIRCRAFT DEPARTURE (+250 FLIGHTS Handled).
